Design and Philosophy
At our core, we are storytellers. These stores give us an opportunity to bring moʻolelo (stories) to life. Every design choice is rich with meaning, intended to be discovered, experienced and shared.
Storefront
Our color palette is inspired by the vivid sunsets that help to define Florida’s west coast, blending warm coral tones with soft blues that echo the meeting of saltwater and freshwater.
Furnishings - Naples
Our light fixtures are crafted to represent the various forms found in fish nets. Our central blue column symbolizes our recurring theme of convergence between saltwater and freshwater while the use of reeded glass brings a soft texture to the surface. Additionally, a shell-inspired design serves as the basis of our countertops.
Custom Art
We collaborated with South Florida artist Beatriz Chachamovits, whose ceramic coral works highlight the importance of protecting coral ecosystems and our oceanic waterways. Her practice aligns deeply with the store’s values of environmental stewardship, reinforcing our commitment to caring for our natural environment.
