With more than three decades of service and lifesaving experience, Kalani, president of the Hawaiian Lifeguard Association, shares the knowledge he’s gained on the job and the path that led him there. Today, he’s focused on preparing the next generation through the island’s junior lifeguard program, passing on the skills, values, and responsibility required to serve and protect the island’s beaches and coastline.
